Hello Kenny,
I also saw something on TV about the earthquake in the U.S. ... relate to our countries, Japan and Indonesia were the first countries to have these events.

I suggest that by entering this site for a great deal of valuable information:

If you go, you learn a lot about preparing everything you can.
Even if I lived in your town, I hope your local municipality and ask if they have to do a hard copy of things. If you do not try the fire department. You may have some ideas what you can do to prepare.

I live in Florida, preparing for hurricanes per year. We do not store water and food, paper and paper products. All we can think if we lose all the services ... such as water and energy.

It is very scary to think that natural causes, that our lives upside down, but we are a strong nation and can do much to save us and our families.

Look people in the Midwest flood of all, we show how Tsurvive or do not hear many of them are Americans who cry aloud.
We can all learn from his strength and courage to work together and help each other, so that life will be made again and again ...

Good luck to you ... Kenny recalled the motto of the Boy Scouts ... "Get Ready"
